Life has kind of taken over here lately, where I barely see myself in all the comings and goings within our household. That's my excuse this week for sporadic blog posts.
Brandon is back from Germany after a month of being gone. While there I was taking care of closing on his house, ripping out old carpet and getting new stuff installed along with some other "handy man" tasks. Aria has her own bedroom, and yes, I helped deck it out in all things girly that she loves.
Kevin has been asked to be part of the National Honor Society through his high school. So proud, so deserving. School takes up lots of his time, along with his girlfriend that is.
Christina is working at La Petite near our home and is counting down the days until she moves to sunny California in December. Quite frankly after a week of no sun here, I'm ready to go with her!
Tiffani & Chris have put their house on the market with hopes of selling it and moving closer to our side of town. We hope it sells fast as keeping a clean house 7/24 is quite a task.
Robert is working lots of extra hours these days as the economy has hit Hallmark hard, as it has with most businesses.
As for me, I had a growth removed from my ear that the kids spotted while working at Brandon's house. The size of a pea, they cut it off. Biopsy shows benign...a relief. I think it was just a wart coming on in time for Halloween, because everyone knows I can be very witchy ;)
Me, Julie and Mom are headed to Warsaw Missouri this weekend for the Heritage Art Festival, hoping to sell many of the items we've been making the past 6 months. Wish us luck and keep your fingers crossed for good weather too!
Dinner this week at our house with some of the kids.
Creamy chicken vegetable soup with homemade cheese biscuits. Mighty good stuff.
