Well the 4th is almost here! Robert is on vacation tomorrow. Tonight we are headed to the golf course where they host a BBQ and put on a fireworks display. I like it because it is a great show, good food, close to home, cheap entertainment and did I mention great fireworks? We'll take up our picnic blankets and watch the show once the sun is down.
Kevin is slowly healing, looking a bit like a chipmunk with swelling in his face. I feel sorry for the big lug. Really I do. Mom's have a hard time seeing their kids not feeling so hot. We finally got his car back last night so I am no longer relegated to chauffeur or having to share my car.
If you haven't checked it out, I posted a most delish Mango Peach Salsa recipe on the Creative Chic's blog, printable size. I can honestly claim it is the best I have ever tasted and it never goes to waste around here.
I also put up 3 new items in my store, perfect hostess gifts or gift wraps.
I am taking the weekend off to spend with family. I'm sure I'll have pictures of all our family get togethers this weekend come Monday, but this weekend I'm just enjoying a little time away from the computer :)
